Excursion to Auschwitz – Birkenau Museum
Duration: 6 hoursThis is the largest Nazi concentration camp formed from an army barracks during the II World War. The Polish Government established this as a National Museum in 1947. The Museum remains a place sacred to the memory of the tens of thousands of Jews, Poles and other nationalities who suffered and died here.
The tour includes a documentary film of the liberation of the camp. Afterwards a few of the surviving prison blocks, the gas chamber,and the crematorium can be visited. The visit continues after a shortbreak and the visitors can go up to the watch tower in Birkenau part to see the panorama of the camp.
