Programme 11 Days / 10 Nights

Day 1 KRAKOW

Arrival in Krakow, a guided tour „The Old Town by night”. Welcome dinner & overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2 KRAKOW - WIELICZKA
Breakfast, departure for the Salt Mine Wieliczka, guided tour of beautiful chambers, chapels and salt sculptures. Return to Krakow, half-day guided tour of the Old Town including: the Main Market Square with St. Mary’s Church and the Cloth Hall, the Royal Route and the Wawel Royal Castle and Wawel Cathedral. A ’Polish evening’ in a regional restaurant with live folk music, overnight stay.

Day 3 KRAKOW - AUSCHWITZ
Breakfast, departure for Oswiecim, visit to the Museum PM Auschwitz Birkenau - the largest former Nazi concentration camp. Transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a visit to the Bernardine Church and Monastery with its miraculous icon of the Weeping Madonna and a stroll through the surrounding hills with its numerous chapels and avenues related to the Passion of Christ and the life of the Virgin Mary. Return to Krakow, dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 SANDOMIERZ - ZAMOSC
Breakfast, departure for Sandomierz: fascinating architectural and landscape composition: market place, Renaissance Town Hall, ineresting town houses, the Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace, churches and monasteries. Lunch break and departure for Zamosc. After arrival dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5 ZAMOSC – KAZIMIERZ DOLNY
Breakfast, guided tour of Zamosc - a great sample of a Renaissance town established in the 16th century: sightseeing of the Market Square with its outstanding townhouses and the Town Hall, the Cathedral and the remains of the original town fortifications. Transfer to Kazimierz Dolny, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6 KAZIMIERZ DOLNY - WARSAW

Breakfast, sightseeing of the town including the Market Square with its picturesque townhouses, the ruins of the Gothic castle and the 17th century granaries situated along the bank of the Vistula river. Transfer to Warszawa, dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 7 WARSAW

Breakfast, guided city tour of the Old Town with Royal Castle, the Royal Route and Lazienki - a great park and palace complex with the splendid Palace on the Water. Transfer to the Wilanów Royal Palace - a pearl of Polish Baroque architecture. Dinner & overnight in Warsaw.

Day 8 ZELAZOWA WOLA – TORUN - GDANSK
Breakfast, departure for Zelazowa Wola. A visit and a piano concert at the Museum of Chopin’s birthplace - a beautiful manor with Chopin’s memorabilia. Transfer to Torun - a charming historical town known for being the birthplace of Copernicus. Sightseeing of the Old Town including the Market Square and Town Hall, Copernicus’ House - now a museum, the Leaning Tower and the ruins of a Teutonic Castle. Transfer to Gdańsk, dinner & overnight in Gdansk.

Day 9 GDANSK

Breakfast, a guided sightseeing tour of Gdańsk, a town of a thousand-year-old traditions: the monumental Town Hall, the Neptune’s Fountain and Artus` Court, impressive Gothic St. Mary’s Church and Mariacka St. lined with richly decorated historical townhouses. Afternoon : visit to the Cathedral of Oliwa with an organ live concert. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Gdansk.

Day 10 MALBORK - WARSAW
Breakfast, departure for Warszawa via Malbork - a former capital of the Teutonic State, guided tour of the impressive Medieval Teutonic Castle, arrival in Warsaw, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 11 WARSAW
Breakfast, departure home.
